Kathie is a Partner of the Firm’s Assurance Services Group and also heads the Firm’s Accounting Services Group. With over 23 years of experience in public accounting practice, Kathie started her career under the Assurance Services Group of SGV & Co. She also worked as Controller of a multinational trading firm and a manufacturing company where she further enhanced her skills in finance and controllership.
As Partner in the Assurance Group, Kathie has performed various audit and business advisory services to foreign and local clients, including companies involved in retail, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, services, trading, financing, holdings and investments; savings and loans associations; hotels and real estate, among others. She was commissioned by the Philippine Court of Tax Appeals to perform independent CPA services on various cases involving tax claims and assessments of regional offices; educational institutions; manufacturing companies involved in beverage, tobacco, food, and other consumer products; renewable energy; insurance; and business process outsourcing.
A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Kathie holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree, major in Accounting. She is a CPA, a member of the Board of Directors of ACPAPP, and a member of PICPA.
